Dr. Laura Marno received her Honours Bachelor of Science degree from McMaster University in 2020. She then earned her Doctor of Optometry degree with Dean’s Honours at the University of Waterloo and was awarded the CooperVision Contact Lens Award for excellence in contact lens care.
From a very young age, she was exposed to the world of vision care through her personal experience as a patient and became inspired by her own Optometrist to pursue the profession. She is passionate about providing patient-centred care and comprehensive eye examinations to patients of all ages. Dr. Marno completed externships across Ontario as part of her training, where she gained valuable clinical experience in primary care and ocular disease management. She has a special interest in dry eye treatment, contact lenses, myopia control, and refractive surgery co-management. Dr. Marno is a member of the Ontario Association of Optometrists and Canadian Association of Optometrists.
Outside of the clinic, she enjoys travelling, baking, exploring local restaurants, and spending time with friends and family. She also loves iced coffee and is a devoted Toronto Maple Leafs fan!
